Abstract
We present the results of the experiments on the comparative evaluation of the efficiency of various methods for preservation of plant material until DNA isolation from it. The main criterion for this evalauation was applicability of obtained DNA samples for PCR amplification. Based on these results it was concluded that all tested method allowed one to obtain the DNA samples having good PCR applicability. However, from practical point of view the method for preservation of plant material in the form of conventional herbarium should be considered as the most optimal.

Abstract
We have examined 110 children at the age from 7 to 11 of the 1st and 2nd health groups who live permanently in two districts with different technogenic stress levels. The free activity of enzymes of blood plasma and urine localized in microsomes and lisosomes is investigated. The activity of malate dehydrogenase (mitochondrial enzyme) and alkaline phosphatase (microsomal enzyme and an indicator excretory functions of hepatocytes) in blood plasma of children is found to increase with increasing the activity of urine acetylesterase and β-galactosidase, which indicates labilization of membranes of corresponding subcellular structures leading to development of a cytopathic effect. It is established that industrial plant emissions contribute to biological membrane damaging among the children of the lower school age.

Abstract
We report a taxonomical and ecological analysis of the aquatic flora of four reservoirs and watercourses in Orekhovo-Zuevo and selection of indicator species. We have found 27 species of water and coastal plants, which belong to 26 genera and 23 families. The ranges of ecobiomorph water and coastal plants are classified into three types and nine groups. Helophytes, hydrophytes and wetland plants are represented by approximately the same number of species. The most numerous group was that of hydrohelophytes, i.e., 6 species (22%). To assess the quality of the water environment by the method of fluctuating asymmetry the most promising are Alisma plantago-aquatica L. Potamogeton natans L., Sagittaria sagittifolia L., and Hydrocharis morsus-ranae L.

Abstract
We study the pigmentation of eyes and swelling of eggs of rainbow trout (Salmo gairdneri Richardson, 1836) in early embryogenesis. The research is performed by using the data of the Chukhur-Kabala fish factory in Azerbaijan. From the beginning of fertilization till the getting out from the egg the process of pigmentation of the eyes and swelling of the eggs during the development of the embryo is traced. It is found that the quality pigmentation of eyes and swelling of eggs depends on environmental factors, especially on the water temperature and oxygen saturation. The maximum degree of swelling of fertilized eggs occurs in the period between fifth and sixth weeks.

Abstract
The method of clonal micropropagation in vitro allows one to obtain a qualitative healthy planting material of garden strawberry. Cultivation of tendril apexes is most effective for cultivars with a weak tendril-making ability. Cultivation of petals and leaves is effective only for cultivars which are well propagated vegetatively. Regenerated plants obtained under in vitro conditions have good adapt ability; they are as good as rosette seedlings or even surpass them by the number of tendrils, affiliated rosettes and productivity. In addition, they are significantly less affected by botrytis, white and brown spots.

Abstract
The paper describes the study of the varieties as the initial forms for selection and breeding of new apple varieties (Nigar, Marfa, Sulh, Seving, Chiraqqala, Shabran, Emil, Nubar, Xazar, Vatan, Elvin, Davamli, Payizliq Quba, and Qishliq Quba). We present the results of selection works in the Quba - Xachmaz region, which made it possible to obtain such varieties which combine the best production and biological indicators: productivity, high flavor quality of fruits, early maturing, etc.

Abstract
The paper presents results of the study on the effect of some environmental factors on microbial complexes of the root zone throughout the growing season for plants by the example of oat (Avena sativa). The rhizosphere and rhizoplane are an area of intense microbial activity, controlled by root exudates and environmental conditions of plant growth. Cellulose-decomposing microorganisms, actinomycetes and fungi, which are present in large quantities in the rhizosphere, weakly breed in the rhizoplane. The number of saprophytic bacteria in the rhizoplane is significantly greater than that in the rhizosphere. In the rhizosphere and rizoplane, at different stages of plant development gram-negative saprophytic bacteria p. Pseudotopas dominate. The greatest number of bacteria as in the rhizosphere and in the rhizoplane is found during the flowering of the plants. The smallest amount corresponds to the stage of maturation. The direct impact on the soil leads to changes in the microbial cenoses of the rhizosphere and rhizoplane as a whole. By maintaining the humidity level at an optimum level (60%) and by loosening soil regularly one may compensate for the negative impact of oil-contaminated soil on microbial cenosis of the root surface of plants.

Abstract
We report the development of the conservationalist movement in the Poltava province in the nineteenth century and the first third of the twentieth century. The environmental positions of the Province Zemstvo and the role of nature protection initiatives of famous landowners and intelligentsia are considered. Attention is drawn to the forms of the public movement of nature conservation as regulators of environmental behaviour. The latter are of interest from the point of view of substantiation of modern values on the relationships between man and nature.

Abstract
Based on the mathematical modeling of soil processes we report the economic evaluation of the possible dimensions of erosion damage to rural economy on the left bank of the Dniester river. The balance of humus is estimated in soils taking into account the modern character of land-tenure in the region. The data obtained by calculation are presented in the form of the tables. The correlation between the rates of erosion and a decrease in stocks of humus in the soil is found. The decline of the productivity of winter wheat at the foregoing processes is analyzed.

Abstract
We discuss the content of such a scientific and educational discipline as applied geotechnomorphology. The fundamental concepts of applied geotechnomorphology are considered based on the concept of geotechnomorphogenesis. We have formulated the priority application of geotechnomorphology, consisting in geoecological technomorphic human environment as a life-determining harmoniously functioning financial system.

Abstract
We describe students’ self-work organization in ecology studies. We suggest selfstudy of topics related to the problem of ingredient and mound-destructive environmental pollution caused by the lack of environmental protection measures in almost all sectors of the economy associated with conversion or degradation of natural landscapes. The method proposed can be used to control the knowledge (entrance, current and total) and to enhance the educational activities of the students either by learning from their own experience (association of their own experience with the subject of study) or by organizing work in a team, when a specific task is given to a group of several students.

Abstract
The problems related to parametric pollution of the environment are considered, and the form of the organization of the self-work of students on this subject is proposed. The main sources of parametric pollution as well as the problems of information overload are listed. The influence of these factors on the health of man is shown. The developed tasks allow one to use them both for individual and team work at implementation of entrance, current and total control of knowledge.
