Abstract
We report the results of inventory and current status of ornithofauna of Upper Yauza Wetlands in the National Park Losiny Ostrov, Moscow. Comparative analysis of wetland ornithofauna and individual species status is performed using the data of long-term observations. Waterfowl and shorebirds of the wetlands are represented by 23 species. The species representing Anseriformes (13 species and 55% of total bird population) and Charadriformes (6 species and 27% of population) predominate on Upper Yauza Wetlands. The percentage of Gruiformes and Podicipediformes constitutes 9 % each. The wetlands are favorable for the reproduction of 13 waterfowl species.

Abstract
On the basis of the generalization of literature facts and the comprehensive evaluation of Aconitum septentrionale Koelle resources in the Komi Republic, we present the main methodological approaches that allow one to expand and systematize research in the field of resource management of medicinal plants. The individuality and specificity of the research is connected with the biological and ecological peculiarities of plants, the peculiarities of the natural and climate conditions on the growth territory, and phytochemical and pharmacological properties. We believe that comprehensive and scientifically based methods of resource studies based on the system approach are the most important factor in the concept of state policy implementation in the field of manufacture of domestic medicinal products.

Abstract
The paper addressed some very important issues of collection, sorting, recycling, processing and disposal of waste. The facts of the magnitude of the problem in our country are presented. The main attention is paid to a huge load on the environment, resulting from the disposal and recycling of the waste from our capital. Attention is drawn to numerous attempts of separate waste collection, separation, recycling and disposal. Due to the existence of many problems in this field some suggestions are presented for alleviating the situation of waste. Special attention is paid to this very urgent and extremely large-scale problem in connection with the Year of Ecology of the Moscow Region.

Abstract
The paper addresses the problems of creation of an eco-city and considers the features of the urban environment. It is shown how the urban environment is formed. The changes in human behavior under conditions of an eco-city are demonstrated. Attention is paid to the perception of the urban environment by people and the influence of the environment on the behavior of citizens. The issue of human influence on the formation of the urban environment and the ecology of the cities is discussed, and information about the problems arising from the interaction of people and urban environment with psychology is presented.

Abstract
We report a comprehensive study of the problems of the water management complex in the Republic of Crimea. The views on the main causes of environmental problems in water management are presented. An attempt is made to identify the prevailing pollutants of the peninsula's water bodies. As a research task, the scale of the incidence of hepatitis A among the population, as an indicator of the quality of drinking water, is determined. Some interim results of the activities related to the implementation of the State Program for the Development of the Water Management System of the Republic of Crimea are presented, and recommendations for improving the methodological base for assessing the quality of waters in the Crimea are discussed.

Abstract
The paper considers conceptual suggestions for improving territorial planning of transport at a regional level - territorial subjects of the Russian Federation. Four strategic objectives to the transport strategy formation of regions are presented. The concept of regional road (transport) security is considered. Efficiency of use of an indicator of integrated transport availability to the analysis and design of regional transport systems is shown. The problem of the creation of a uniform transport network of regions and the formation of a basic transport framework of the territory are analyzed.

Abstract
Based on SRTM digital elevation models (DEMs) using GIS technology we have performed a morphometric analysis of the relief of Shinchay-Damiraparanchay mudflow basins. We present maps of hypsometry, slopes, aspect ratio, range relief and drainage density, indices of dissection and ruggedness, and surface curvature. The areal distribution of these parameters by grade is analyzed. It is found that some morphometric indices of the relief play an important role in the formation of mudflows in individual river basins.

Abstract
We discuss the philosophical views on the meaning of the concept ‘geoecological process’ that we have introduced in scientific circulation. At the present level of knowledge, under the geoecological processes we understand changes in human health and changes in the condition of plants and animals under the direct or indirect influence of the environment. We consider the substantive definition of geoecological processes in relation to human, plant and animal organisms. We show the theoretical and practical significance of the study of geoecological processes - health changes and human activities and changes in the condition of plants and animals in spatial and temporal specificity of the environment (natural and man-made whole).

Abstract
A new reagent, i.e. 3 (E)-2-hydroxybenzylidene) hydrazone) indoline-2-one, based on salicylaldehyde is synthesized, its crystalline structure is determined and a complex formation of this reagent with iron (III) is studied. The interaction of this reagent with Fe(III) is examined in the presence and in the absence of diantipyrilmethane (DAM), 8-hydroxyquinoline and diphenylguanidine (DPG). The developed method is used to determine trace iron in banana, peas and buckwheat.
