WOOD COMMUNITIES OF THE UPPER PART OF THE EGORLYK RIVER (THE STAVROPOL HEIGHT): THE HISTORY AND THE PRESENT.
Abstract
The results of the research work dealing with the Upper Egorlyk River wood
communities are given in this article. For the first time the basic types of wood communities
associations with the detailed description of their modern structure and composition are presented.
The wood communities degradation level is analyzed. The ecomorfological structure
of research area woods flora is investigated. The analysis of archival documents concerning the
wood wildlife management history of the research area since the middle of the XIX century is
made on the basis of Stavropoulos State Archive materials.
