грибов Aspergillus terreus, выделенных из различных
почвенных образцов (ил, красная почва, корка соли
с почвой), взятых из территории Республики Узбе-
кистан, как возможных продуцентов ловастатина и
родственных ему соединений. Выявлено 4 активных
штамма исследованного вида, один из которых наряду
с ловастатином способен продуцировать также незна-
чительное количество симвастатина. Исходное содер-
жание (до 121 мг/л) ловастатина в биомассе активных
штаммов дает основание считать их вполне перспек-
тивными для использования с этой целью.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>30 strains of filamentous fungi Aspergillus
terreus, isolated from different soil samples (red soil,
the peel of salt with soil ) in Uzbekistan, as potential
producers of lovastatin and related compounds have
been studied. Four active strains of investigated sample
have been found. One of them together with lovastatin
is capable to produce small amounts of simvastatin.
Original content of lovastatin in the biomass of active
strains gives grounds to consider them quite promising
