<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The paper presents the modern data on the role of physical activity in preventive maintenance and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. It is shown that regular physical activity renders an essential positive effect on health and labor productivity. These effects are easily predicted, depend on the loading, and are suitable for many people. We report the data on changes in NO and RO’ levels and in inhibitors of free radicals in cells, as well as on molecular processes in endothelia and muscles (such as a high level of metabolism of phosphates and lowered expression of NAD(P)H oxidazes), depending on the intensity of physical exercises showing a decrease in oxidative stress at moderate physical activity. Recommendations on programming exercises for people suffering from various cardiovascular diseases are presented.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>сердечно-сосудистые заболевания</kwd><kwd>физическая активность</kwd><kwd>антиоксиданты</kwd><kwd>оксидативный стресс</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Анохина Н.
