В Институте динамики геосфер РАН были разработаны магнитометрические комплексы «Плутон» и «Вистлер», обладающие рекордно низким уровнем собственных шумов, большим динамическим диапазоном и точностью временных привязок на уровне 30 нс. Использование данной аппаратуры и собственных методик регистрации позволили зарегистрировать сверхслабые сигналы КНЧ/ОНЧ диапазона, а также запеленговать источник на расстоянии порядка 2000 км.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Detection of ultra-weak signals in the ELF/VLF range and location of their source are possible when use is made of specialized highly sensitive equipment. ‘Pluton’ and ‘Whistler’ magnetometric installations with record-low intrinsic noise, wide dynamic range and accuracy of temporary bindings at 30 ns are developed at the Institute of Geosphere Dynamics, RAS.
